My Inspiration

I've always been a creative person and it comes very intuitively. I use my hands to create. I enjoy precision in making and take time and consideration in producing what I find to be elegant useful pieces. I love the colours and textures of my local landscape, the Peak District.

The mossy, heathery moors against moody grey skies. Grasses and wildflowers against rock & stone makes my heart feel rooted. I have a great love of interiors & homeware. From Ceramics to glass to metal and taking those moody vibes through into mixing with nostalgic 'grandmas attic' finds. My inspiration keeps bringing me back to the same earthy simple colours & textures of my surroundings. My work is always evolving as I grow in my craft and experiences.
